Lost Ladybug

I fear that the ladybug that lived with us has died. All the signs point to it. She lived with us over a week, sneaking in just before the snow came. I didn’t want to take it out as it would have died. It lived eating my hoverflies. Now they are back. My husband is puzzled why I don’t let him kill them, the hoverflies I mean. Maybe I should have a wake for the ladybug
