I liked the book. The subject is important as there would be fewer problems and conflicts in the word if we only knew how to communicate better. It was easy to read, and every night I was happy to know it waited for me on my nightstand. I could hear Alda’s voice throughout the book and it was a pleasant voice. But… there’s a huge but. The book lacked facts and the how to. On several occasions, I waited for an explanation of how one should go around communicating or relating to others better but the explanation never came. In a way, this book was more of an essay about the subject combined with Alan Alda’s journey of understanding it better. It wasn’t a bad book. Actually quite a nice book to wake up your appetite for better communication.
