Cow
You are an alien. You have always been an alien compared to the places you travel to. You have grown accustomed to the terror your face inspires in others. So much so that you are not fazed when they draw their guns on you, you find it amusing.
You have been traveling the universe as long as you can remember, collecting information and artifacts of other civilizations. The reality is that there is a vast universe out there, and you have come across some weird shit. Every time you return to your home galaxy, they are amazed at what you have come across, not believing half the tales you tell them and the items you show them. All highly fascinated them. They found the last cow you brought bizarre.
So here you are, again on Earth, finding more shit to bring back home to be gawked at. Again, little green men with their guns run chasing you. They don’t really like you. Some species are like that. They are made of fear and not curiosity. You really had an eye for a pair of koalas and a few atom bombs, but it seems like you have to come back later when the hosts don’t feel as hostile.

I’m not sure if I really hit the mark of contemporary writing style. I often struggle with the writing style part of the assignment. I have a clear style of writing, and breaking out of it is hard, almost impossible. Today’s genre was comedy. The narrative was a voyage-and-return, and the point of view was second-person. It was fun writing from an alien’s perspective. Anyway, that’s all the insight I have today. My head feels porridgy. Hmm… now I crave oatmeal porridge or rice pudding. Rice pudding…
Thank you for reading! Have a day of multiple universes, where all the decisions come to align ❤
